Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Solution Architect with strong expertise in Portugal Tax & Localization for a remote contract opportunity.

Experience: 10+ Years Overall ERP
Oracle Fusion Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Remote – India
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 3 Months
Working Hours: 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST

  • EU tax and regulatory requirements
  • Oracle Fusion Tax
  • Strong hands-on experience across:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management
  • Oracle Fusion Tax
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture and functional design
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions
  • Design and configure Portugal-specific tax and statutory requirements
  • Prepare Solution Design Documents, configuration workbooks and functional specifications
  • Define integration architecture with third-party tax engines, e-invoicing platforms and government reporting systems
  • Provide architectural guidance for data migration, integrations and reporting
  • Lead/support SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment and hypercare
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants and technical teams
  • Ensure compliance with evolving Portuguese and EU tax regulations
  • Mentor functional consultants and provide Oracle Fusion Finance best-practice guidance

Skills Required

    10+ years of overall ERP experience

    6+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials

    At least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementations

    Portugal localization implementation experience is strongly preferred/required

    Hands-on experience with SAF-T (PT), VAT, E-Invoicing and Withholding Tax

    Strong solution architecture and integration design experience

    Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills

    Experience working with European/UK client teams

    Oracle Fusion Financials certification

    Multi-country European Oracle Fusion implementations

    Portuguese & EU financial reporting knowledge

    Third-party/local tax engine experience

    Government reporting integrations

    International consulting/implementation experience
