We are seeking an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and support of SAP MM solutions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP MM, integration with other SAP modules, and the ability to lead a team while engaging stakeholders across business and IT. The SAP MM Lead will play a key role in ensuring seamless supply chain and procurement operations within the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8–12 years of experience in SAP MM with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations as MM Lead/Module Lead.
In-depth knowledge of SAP MM functionalities:
Procurement (Purchase Requisition, PO, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Vendor Evaluation & Invoice Verification
Material Valuation & Account Determination
Strong understanding of integration with SD, PP, WM, and FI/CO modules.
Hands-on configuration expertise in SAP MM and ability to guide technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent leadership skills with proven experience managing cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of S/4HANA and Fiori Apps preferred.
Good communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Lead the end-to-end implementation, rollout, and support of SAP MM module and its integration with related modules (SD, PP, WM, FI/CO).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design optimized SAP MM solutions.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure successful delivery through configuration, customization, and enhancements.
Manage Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master Data, Vendor Management, Invoice Verification, and Logistics processes within SAP MM.
Provide leadership and mentorship to SAP MM consultants and project team members.
Ensure proper testing (unit, integration, UAT) and deployment of SAP MM functionalities.
Coordinate with ABAP developers for technical enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
Drive continuous improvements, identify system gaps, and propose innovative solutions.
Act as the primary SAP MM subject matter expert (SME) for production support, issue resolution, and change requests.
Prepare documentation (functional specs, process flows, training manuals) and deliver user training.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SAP best practices, and internal controls.
